Laser Physics and Nonlinear Optics group (LPNO)

The Laser Physics and Nonlinear Optics group (LPNO) explores the physics and technology of lasers, nonlinear optical processes and processing of optical information.

The LPNO group is led by Professor Klaus Boller.

The group collaborates with industrial and other academic partners and participates in various strategic alliances, specifically, the research group Nonlinear Nanophotonics, the Applied Nanophotonics (ANP) research cluster of the Department of Science and Technology, the MESA+ Institute for Nanotechnology, the Centre for Quantum Nanotechnology Twente (QUANT), and the Center for Brain-Inspired Nano Systems (BRAINS)
